Upcycled Weston Model 155 Nixie Clock - Vintage Wooden Ammeter Case with Illuminated Dial and Leather Handle
One-of-a-Kind Steampunk Nixie Tube Clock made from a 1910s Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Model 155 AC Ammeter.
This is a true conversation piece. I took an original Weston Model 155 wooden ammeter box, No. 55081, with its original brass plate, curved glass "AMPERES A.C." dial, and leather carrying handle, and transformed it into a fully functional 6-digit Nixie clock.
Features:
- The Case: Original solid wood Weston box in dark walnut finish. Original Weston badge, original ammeter movement window, and original leather side handle. Bottom has 4 rubber feet.
- The Display: 6 vintage-style Nixie tubes on a polished copper top plate - displaying HH MM SS with 2 small orange neon colon tubes. Tubes show warm orange glow with RGB under-glow you can change.
- The Dial: Original amp meter scale is preserved and backlit with bright blue LEDs, creating a beautiful ambient glow day and night.
- Details: Custom copper plates on back for DC power jack and control button, steel hardware, hand-wired.
- Function: 12/24 hour format, keeps time when plugged in. Single yellow button on back for time setting. Runs on standard 12V DC adapter.[included] has a battery so it's a plug and play.
- Comes with instruction manual with our contact details.
